PbRd is the Easiest Way to Adopt Privacy by Design

Why Should You ReDesign Privacy?

Privacy by ReDesign (PbRd) is a published methodology created by Claudiu Popa and published in collaboration with Ann Cavoukian, Ontario's former Privacy Commissioner. It is designed to address the key barriers to the Adoption of Privacy by Design (PbD).

PbD is Complicated

Privacy by Design principles require control over the development life-cycle, management buy-in and policies that support compliance across the entire organization. Privacy by ReDesign only requires project management expertise.

PbD is Bottom-Up

Privacy by Design is the Gold Standard in Privacy, but it must be embedded into the design of applications. For legacy systems, PbRd's approach to privacy re-engineering is the way to go.

PbD is Disruptive

Anyone who has attempted to enforce privacy defaults and ensure that privacy remains user-centric can attest to the difficulty of consistently applying controls. PbRd safeguards are individually enforceable across the board.
